This post is for my 05/02/25 Group Distance Reiki Session. If you are reading this at any time please know the energy and message, as it resonates, is perfect for you.

A pre-session and pre-altar draw nudge turned into getting 5 cards from 2 different decks. From Diana Cooper’s “Angels of Light” deck we received Archangel Michael & from Soha Mystic Tarot, to start the session, we received 2 of Swords. (Images below, with descriptions included. Three additional tarot cards came out when I pulled the one, so those were left face down until prompted reveal within the session.)
I’m using tarot today for a first time in a group session. If you are already in tune with tarot energy and readings please turn toward your own interpretation and guidance (or see how they meld or resonate in tandem with this post). With such rich and powerful history I feel the reading is often for the receiver to glean wisdom as it comes from the images and emotional responses evoked by a specific card and deck.
The water is flowing – a lot, constantly, but it’s a little dammed up. Only a trickle is being allowed through while it is still flowing and building up behind the dam. Make the choice you need to acknowledge the flow and make the next choice for how you utilize this buildup to honor and magnify your path.
The crystals are everywhere, but it’s a little rough lately.
Petrified Wood.
Rockwall.
Decision Making: Let your Heart point you in the right direction. (See the 2 of Swords image and ask for Archangel Michael to guide you to -and through- this choice point.)
It’s easy to be distracted and very close to having a physical accident. Take the time. MAKE the time to stop and breathe and reset before action.
Your medicine feels a little bitter right now, so a moment of reflection and gratitude to why you take it and what it is doing for you will shift the energy.
After sending Reiki for a while I was prompted toward the cards, each of which asked for a specific crystal:
- First, the 4 of Pentacles inverted, with carnelian;
o After existing in a closed state of self-protection we’re being urged to invite and trust (amplified by carnelian) our continuing protection from negative energies, to once again let our creativity give us courage, because we’re ready to naturally move into more peace and groundedness.
- Second, Justice, with lepidolite;
o Starting out with the 2 of Swords we were already directed toward balance. Having Justice come in with lepidolite encourages looking at the bigger picture and honoring that there are two sides to every story. Even in times of transition and change we can connect to higher realms to clear our minds, know there is greater truth and fairness, and find our peace.
- Third, the 10 of Wands inverted, with howlite.
o Feeling overwhelmed and needing to let go or delegate – with howlite this invites us to expand in self-awareness and forgive others -and ourselves- to shift into emotional balance and calm.
Reiki moved through the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual to address whatever was coming up, bring us back into flow, and shed wisdom on our path. I felt it assist shifts into grounding and trust, and opening a door to comfort in decision making and self-expression. At the end of the session there was a giant elemental water release which felt aligned with our graining empowerment to utilize the energy surging at the dam. There is still a sense of navigation needed and some discomfort in letting things out, but we have -and will continue to- let things go.
